General Betting Rules
All bets accepted by IAS are subject to the following rules.
- "IAS" is a reference to IASbet.com Pty. Ltd., a subsidiary of International All Sports Limited ABN 32 066 967 502 - a Company registered in Australia under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). IASbet.com is licensed by the Northern Territory Government in the Commonwealth of Australia, to accept bets by telephone and the internet on a global basis 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Clients making any bet must be 18 years of age or older.
(a) In opening an account, the customer agrees to provide IAS with satisfactory proof of identity, age and residency within 90 days of registering an account.
(b) Where a customer has not provided documentation required under Rule 3 (a) within 90 days of opening their account, that account will be suspended immediately pending the receipt of satisfactory proof of identity, age and residency.
- All transactions are free of betting 'tax' deductions.
- Transactions may be made in US or Australian dollars or such other currencies as the company may deem appropriate.
- No bet may be cancelled, changed, or modified by the bettor, in any way, once it has been received and accepted by IAS.
- All winnings shall be credited to the winning customer's account.
- Account balances are the responsibility of the client and should be checked at every opportunity.
- In the event that funds are credited to a customer's account in error, it is incumbent upon the customer to notify IAS of the aforesaid error without delay. Unless otherwise notified by IAS any transactions resulting from the error shall be void.
- Notwithstanding anything contained elsewhere in these rules, if IAS publishes
posts or quotes any incorrect betting information for any sporting event,
such as posting wrong odds or lines, then regardless of the cause or source
of such error:
a) If the error is identified prior to the commencement of the event and notified by IAS to the most recent telephone or facsimile contact number or e-mail address supplied by a customer whose wager on that event has been accepted or confirmed by IAS, such wager will be null and void;
b) If the error is identified only after the commencement of the event, or for any other reason not notified to the customer's point of contact prior to commencement of the event, the wager on the event shall stand, the only exception being where IAS can demonstrate that the error was such that on the reasonable balance of probability the customer must have been aware of the offer being wrong when the wager was placed.
- IAS shall in no way, and under no circumstances, be liable for any damages or losses, including without limitation, direct, indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages deemed or alleged to have resulted from or caused by the present website or its content, including without limitation any persons use or misuse of its content, the inability of any person to use the site, delays in operation or transmission, communication line failure, or any errors or omissions in content.
- Each client is wholly responsible for the secrecy of his betting account and should make every effort to prevent the use of the personal account number by any third party, as any transactions entered into where the account holder's number has been given to effect a wager, shall stand as bona fide transactions dependent only upon the current balance of the account.
- In the event that a customer suspects that a third party may have their password or username, the customer may at anytime ask that IAS furnish the customer with a new password and username.
- For US sports (baseball, American football, basketball and hockey), and Soccer, all events must be played on the scheduled day (US Eastern time) unless otherwise specified. For postponed games, all bets shall be deemed void and all stakes returned.
- For all other sports, (unless otherwise specified), events whose start time is postponed and then rescheduled to a time more than 48 hours after the original start time will automatically be deemed void for settling purposes, and all money will be credited accordingly.
- If a void match is included in a multiple bet that leg is treated as a 'non-runner' and the outcome of the multiple will be decided on the result of the remaining legs.
- Unless otherwise stated, if a match is called off in running or the outcome is postponed to a later date the official result, if any, declared by the Sporting Event’s Controlling Body will be used to determine the settlement of wagers placed on the outcome of the event. Any events that have been decided prior to the calling off or postponement of the event shall stand. For example, to win the toss in cricket, or first try scorer in a rugby league match.
- Bets on sporting events will always be settled on the podium positions of the competitors. Subsequent disqualification or promotion is irrelevant for betting purposes.
- All bets made straight out and at the line or start are subject to extra time except where otherwise specified (see Soccer and US Sports rules). Points margin betting (i.e. 1-12, and 1-39), game totals and half time full time doubles are paid at the end of normal time, except where otherwise specified.
- Unless an event is being covered by IAS 'Betting in the run' service, bets placed after the start of the relative event will be considered void. 'Betting in the run' events will be flagged with a LIVE prefix on the Internet betting system. Any event without such a prefix is not considered as being covered by IAS' Betting in Running' service. If a game is flagged with a LIVE prefix and begins before the scheduled time, only wagers before the start of the game will be considered valid.
- Unless otherwise stated all sport betting is 'all in run or not' betting. If a selection does not compete or take the field all bets on that selection are lost.
- Bets on correct score and first goal scorer will be accepted up to the GMT kick-off time. If a bet is inadvertently accepted after this time that bet will be treated as a non-runner, with the remaining selections settled accordingly.
- It is possible to bet on singles and multiples. It is also possible, unless otherwise stated, to combine events regarding different sports in one bet.
- Multiple Bets are not accepted where the outcome of one part of the bet
contributes to the outcome of another. If a client inadvertently or deliberately
backs a related contingency in a multiple bet, the bet will be voided and
the stakes returned.
a) Any multiple made up of more than one selection from the same event will be deemed a related contingency. i.e. Alan Shearer to score 1st & Newcastle Utd to win; Denver -7.5 pts and Denver to win the game. The only exception to the above is in North American sports where sides and totals can make up a multiple bet.
b) Any multiples involving the same team or its players, or the same selection will be deemed a related contingency. i.e. Alan Shearer to be top Premiership goal scorer and Newcastle to win the Premiership; Arsenal to win their 3rd Round FA Cup game into Arsenal to win the FA Cup; Tie The Knot to win the Caulfield Cup and Tie The Knot to win the Melbourne Cup.
c) Parlays may not include run line into totals within the same baseball game. If the client wants to back related contingencies a special price may be given at IAS discretion.
- Dead Heats and or Draws. In any competition where the draw is not offered as an explicit 3 way option (excluding North American Sports, Golfing Head to Heads, Boxing and Basketball) any wagers placed on a drawn event shall be resulted according to dead heat rules: Full face value of the ticket (stake + payout) divided by the number of the deadheat count. ie. A bet on Dragons V Sharks $100 Dragons @ 1.85 would return $92.50. Dead heats or Draws in North American Sports,Golfing Head to Heads,Boxing and Basketball will be deemed to be a "push" (full refund of stake).
- Without prior negotiation, the maximum payout by IAS (inclusive of stake) to any one individual or entity, or group deemed to be acting on behalf of any one Individual or entity is Aus $500,000 (or currency equivalent) per day. Where bets are placed on different days, the maximum payout limit will apply to the day that the final selection in the bets was completed and not to the days that the bets were placed. Refer also to rule 27 for limits on specific events.
- In addition to the daily limit stated in rule 26 above, daily win limits
apply to specific events. These limits include all winnings derived from wagers
placed by the client on the individual event, regardless of whether the event
is included as an element of a multiple, a group of multiples, or as a single
wager. It is important to bear these limits in mind as we cannot be responsible
for bringing them to your attention at the time the wager/s is/are placed.

- a) Under Australian law, the Interactive Gambling Act 2001, the provision
of betting via the Internet on 'micro events' (sometimes referred to as 'live
betting' or 'betting in the run') is prohibited to any customer physically

Betting on the outcome of a sporting event, where the bets are placed, made, received or accepted after the beginning of an event; or;
Betting on a contingency that may or may not happen in the course of a sporting event, where the bets are placed, made, received or accepted after the beginning of an event.

If play has commenced on an event and/or round then betting on that single event/round, Overall and/or Outright winner is suspended.
Once the play in that event and/or round has ceased and before the start of play in any new event and/or round, betting on the Outright and/or Overall result can be re-activated.
Example:
Once players have entered an area of play or have commenced play for a round of events, betting on the Overall or Outright winner will cease.
Once players have left the field or at the conclusion of the game or round of the event, betting on the Overall or Outright winner can re-commence.

- When our staff repeat the odds and event to the client it is the responsibility of the client to make sure that the information given is understood correctly.
- In the interests of staff and clients, all telephone calls will be recorded
and the recording used to settle all wagering disputes. If any dispute cannot
be settled satisfactorily between IAS management and the client, the matter
shall be referred to a representative of the Northern Territory Racing & Gaming
Commission for final determination and all wagers will be adjusted accordingly.
Sports Betting Rules
- Cricket Betting. In any Test or Pura Cup match at least one ball must be bowled for wagers to stand otherwise all wagers are void. However, if such a match is officially abandoned, then all undecided wagers on the match (not the series) are void and stakes refunded. In one-day matches shortened by weather, the outcome will be that determined by the competition rules. If the match is declared a no-result, all wagers on the result of the match are void and stakes refunded. In the event of a tie: All wagers to win will be paid at half face value (as per dead heat rule), and wagers on the draw will be losers.
- If a batting partnership remains undefeated to the end of an innings all bets on the pair for the next man out are void and all stakes will be credited back to clients' accounts.
- A player retiring injured does not count as out for betting purposes. If this occurs all betting on that batsmen pairing will be void and stakes will be credited back to clients' accounts. A player who retires (not injured) is deemed to be out.
- When betting on the total runs for a game, the game must have a declared result for the bets to stand. If the match is called off for any reason before the game can be concluded all total runs bets that are not already determined will be declared void and stakes will be credited back to clients' accounts.
- In head-to-head betting both players (batsmen) must have been at the wicket when a ball is bowled for bets to stand. For bowling head-to-heads, both bowlers must bowl one ball for bets to stand.
- Soccer Betting.Unless clearly stated, all bets will be settled on the game score after 90 minutes. If the customer wishes to back a team on the handicap scale he should make this clear when placing his bet.
- Abandonment. Where a soccer match commences but is subsequently officially abandoned without full time (normal time plus injury time) being called by the match referee, all bets on that match will be void, with the exception of bets whose outcome has already been decided at the time of abandonment, i.e. 1st goalscorer, half time coupon etc. If a multi contains any leg voided under this rule, that leg will be treated as a winner paying odds of $1.00. Any subsequent official over rulings by the relevant governing body concerning awarding of points and/ or declaring an official score will only have consideration for the settlement of bets affected by this rule at the sole discretion of IAS.
Postponement. Where a soccer match is postponed to a later day, all bets on the match shall be treated as void. - First/Last Goalscorer. Betting is "all in". A price will be quoted for "No
Score". Prices for unlisted selections are available on request. If an unlisted
player scores the relevant goal, all bets on listed selections lose. However,
betting is not "run or not". If a selection takes no part in the game, bets
on that player to be the first or last goalscorer will be void and stakes
returned. If a player enters the game after the first goal is scored, bets
on that player to score first are void. Bets on last player to score stand
if the player was in the game at any time. Own goals do not count and the
next/previous goal will count. "No scorer" will be the result if the only
goals are own goals.
Live In-Play Asian Handicap Betting. When betting live on Asian Handicap, you are betting only on the remainder of the match. This means that any previous goals scored in the match are irrelevant for the outcome of your wager. The outcome of your wager will be determined only by the goals (if any) scored after you place your bet.
Live In-Play Under and Over Betting. When betting live on the Under and Over number of goals, you are betting on the total number of goals scored in the match during normal time. This means that any previous goals scored in the match are included in the outcome of your wager.
- Boxing Betting. When the bell is sounded signifying the start of
the opening round, the bout is considered official for betting purposes, regardless
of scheduled length, weight, classification or championship sanction. If,
for any reason, a point's decision is awarded before the full number of rounds
is completed, bets will be settled on the round in which the fight was stopped.
Bets which nominated 'to win on points' will only be deemed winners if the
full number of rounds are completed. If a boxer fails to answer the bell,
the fight will be deemed to have ended in the previous round.
If a boxing match is postponed and re-scheduled to occur within 30 days of the original start time, all bets will stand.
If the betting offer on a match includes the draw as a third option and the match ends in a draw, wagers on the draw will be paid, while wagers on either fighter are losers. If the wagering offer includes only the two boxers, with the draw either not offered or offered as a separate proposition, and the match ends in a draw, wagers on either fighter will be refunded.
In addition to this IAS will offer a separate 5-way market – Fight Outcome. An example of the 5 wagering options is listed below.
Boxer A to win by KO/TKO or Disqualification
Boxer A to win by Decision/Technical Decision
Boxer B to win by KO/TKO or Disqualification
Boxer B to win by Decision/Technical Decision
Draw
In the event of a no-contest or technical draw being declared prior to completion of the scheduled number of rounds all bets will be made void.
Total Number of Rounds: Where a total number of rounds market is offered, e.g. Under/Over 7½ , if in the 8th round the fight is stopped at 1 minute 30 seconds or before, wagers will be settled in favor of the Under. If the fight is stopped at 1 minute 31 seconds or after in the 8th round, wagers will be settled in favor of the Over. This is assuming the fight is contested over "3 minute rounds".
Using the example above, where the fight is contested over “2 minute rounds", if in the 8th round the fight is stopped at 1 minute or before, wagers will be settled in favor of the Under, with 1 minute 1 second or after in the 8th round settled in favor of the Over.
- Golf Betting. All in betting, (i.e. No refund for non-player). If
a player starts a round and subsequently retires, he will count as a runner.
In the case of abandonment's, if less than 36 holes have been played, then
all bets will be void. If at least 36 holes have been played, all bets will
stand. In the event of the scheduled number of rounds not being completed
all wagers accepted after the last completed round shall be void and all stakes
refunded.
Group Betting: Non-Runner equals no bet and deductions will be in line with UKbased Tattersalls rule 4 (c).
72 hole Head-to-Heads: Winner decided upon most holes completed by each player, followed by best score between each player. If one player misses the cut his opponent is deemed the winner. If both players miss the cut the lower score wins. Unless the tie is offered as a third option in two ball betting, if both players have the same score, a "push" results and all bets are refunded. Both players must tee off for bets to stand.
18 hole betting: Winner decided upon most holes completed by each player (excluding play-offs). If they are equal on holes, the best score wins. Both players in the two ball (or all players in the three ball or group) must tee off for bets to stand. A player is deemed to have played once he or she has teed off. If both players in the two ballhave the same score, a “push" results and all bets are refunded.Dead heat rules apply to three ball / group betting. Top 3,4 or 5 vs The Field betting: The Field is any other player in the field other than those mentioned in the Top 3,4 or 5. If any of the Top 3,4 or 5 fail to start the tournament, the market will be void.
- Tennis Betting. All single bets (including head to head and set betting) will be void if a match has commenced but has not been fully completed due to a player's retirement or disqualification. If a void match is included in a multiple bet that leg is treated as a 'non-runner' and the outcome of the multiple will be decided on the result of the remaining legs.
- Motor Sports Betting. Formula One: Race Betting. The result at the
time of podium presentations counts.
A driver will be considered a 'runner' providing he appears on the grid prior to the race warm up lap.
Championship Betting: Bets stand on all drivers and manufacturers whether they compete or not. Bets will be settled in accordance with the Official result given by the governing authority.
Race Head To Heads (Match Bets): The winner of a race head to head will be the driver with the higher finishing position, or the driver who completes most laps. In the event that the two drivers retire on the same lap, bets are void.
If either driver fails to appear on the grid for the start of the parade lap then all bets on that head to head are void.
Qualifying Match Bets: The driver achieving the faster official qualifying time is the winner.
If either driver fails to start a lap in the official race qualifying session, then all bets on that match are void.
To Be Classified: The official FIA classifications will be used when settling this market.
Drivers who complete 90% of the number of laps completed by the winner of the race will be classified by the FIA, and will be settled as winners in 'To Be Classified' betting.
Number Of Race Leaders: The driver who is in the forward most car (normally Pole Position) on the grid at the start of the race counts as a race leader.
Subsequent to the start of the race, any other driver who crosses the Start/Finish line as the first car on the road counts as a race leader.
Finish In The Points/On The Podium: The result used for settlement is as at the time of the podium presentation.
Subsequent disqualifications and/or appeals will not affect bets. These markets are win only.
Fastest Lap: The official FIA result, as at the time of the podium presentation for the race will be used.
Betting on other motor racing events will be subject to rules equivalent to the rules above where appropriate.
Other Motor Racing: For wagering purposes, the start of the race is when the first car crosses the start/finish line when the start of the race is officially signified. Bets will be settled on the basis of the result as declared on the race day by the controlling authority. IAS does not recognize overturned decisions for wagering purposes.
Outright Betting: Bets are considered 'all-in'. No refunds will be given if a driver does not start. For NASCAR Championship, no refunds will be given if a driver does not qualify for the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
Race Head to Head Match Ups: All drivers involved in any race match up must start, otherwise all bets will be deemed "no action" and all bets will be refunded. Bets are accepted on drivers only, not on teams or cars. In match ups, if one driver fails to complete the race, the other driver will be declared the winner. Where both drivers fail to complete the race, the number of full laps completed will determine the result. If both drivers fail to complete the race on the same lap, the official placing as assigned by the controlling authority will determine the result of the event.
- Ice Hockey Betting. For wagering purposes, a hockey game (pro or
college) becomes official after fifty-five (55) minutes of play.
Games lasting under official time constitute 'No Action' or 'Push/Void' and all money is refunded.
Games must take place on the site and date scheduled (unless otherwise specified).
Overtime scores and Penalty Shootout are included in all game wagers, money line, puck line, and totals (over/under).
For the Penalty Shootout, the winner has 1 goal added to their score at the completion of the shootout to determine the final score of the game.
Las Vegas Rules apply for any rules not mentioned here.
- Baseball Betting. Baseball wagers will be accepted in the following
manner.
Action - team against team regardless of the starting pitcher.
One specified pitcher - This is a wager on or against a specified pitcher regardless of the starting pitcher.
Both pitchers specified - If starting pitchers were not exactly as listed your wager would be deemed "No action".
In the event of a pitcher change prior to the game money odds may be adjusted. If one scheduled pitcher starts against an unscheduled pitcher "Action" wagers will be computed by the opening price with the new pitcher. - In the event of a pitching change Runlines and Totals are automatically "No Action". For all bets to stand in a baseball match, each nominated pitcher must start. If the nominated pitcher does not take start in the game, all bets on that game (including totals) are void and stakes returned. A starting pitcher is defined for betting purposes as the pitcher that throws the first pitch. For betting purposes, games are official after a minimum of five (5) innings of play. If the home team is leading, the game is official after 4 1/2 innings of play. Thereafter, if a game is called or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning, unless the home team scores to tie or take the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called. When wagering on run lines or run totals, the games must go nine (9) innings, 8 1/2 if the home team is ahead, to have action. Thereafter, if a game is called or suspended, the score will be determined after the last full inning, unless the home team scores to tie or take the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called.
- Basketball Betting. At least 43 minutes of play must elapse for NBA
bets to have action.
At least 35 minutes of play must elapse for NCAA Basketball bets to have action.
At least 43 minutes of play must elapse for NBL bets to have action.
For wagering purposes the winner of the game will be determined by the official result at the end of the game including any overtime played. Overtime counts also for Half-Time (2nd Half) wagering purposes.
IAS reserves the right to suspend any or all betting on a game at any time without notice. (This may happen for example if a key player is not in the starting line up for any reason).
NBA Regular Season Wins: Team must play 82 regular season games for action. Any team that does not play 82 regular season games, bets on that team will be refunded.
- Point Spread. A point spread wager is a bet on a team to win with handicaps
applied. To even the match for wagering purposes the favorite gives the underdog
a points start. A favorite is indicated by a minus points handicap and the
underdog by plus points. At the end of the game/half the relevant handicap
is added to, or subtracted from the teams’ score to determine the point spread
result. Where teams are deemed to be evenly matched, no point spread is applied;
this is called a “Pick" game. If scores are level after accounting for the
handicap, a “push" results. Overtime counts for both Full Game and Half-time
(2nd Half) wagers.
IAS offers 1st Half/2nd Half and Full Game Point Spreads on all NBA games.
Full Game Point Spreads will be offered on all NCAA Basketball games.
1st Half/2nd Half Point Spreads will be offered on selected NCAA Basketball games.
- Totals. A total line is offered by the bookmaker on the predicted total
number of points scored. This can be on the 1st Half/2nd Half and Full Game,
for which a quote is made. Wagering is offered for the actual score total
to be under or over this quote. The total result is the combined total points
